I have been wanting to post some pictures from our trip to Missouri and just never have time to do a long post about it...so I am going to attempt to post just a few photos every day or so.....(we shall see how far I actually get
)These first pictures I am choosing to share are of the hummingbirds that are on the ranch. My uncle feeds them pretty regularly and they weren't scared off by the activity of the kids running and playing right there....Antony took these pictures for me.
Here are the kids, playing in the creek in the back fields of the ranch....They begged nearly every day to go there to play.
Antony and Marci fishing in the lake at the reunion. Antony caught the first fish...and was delighted by it...I wasn't there to get a picture though...I will have to ask some of my cousins to send them to me.
Marten was happy playing in the sand with the trucks...he didn't care that others were swimming...he just wanted to play in the sand....Until Grandma decided to "show" him how much fun the water could be....then there was no keeping him out of it.
Anita enjoying the
watermud in the lake.I liked the way this picture turned out...the little girl is Anita's "best friend in the whole, wide world!" Abigal...my cousin's daughter. Marten is watching and I believe that is Marci swimming in the background.
Antony doing a flip off the bridge and into the lake...he gave his mother a start when he did that...I thought he was just going to jump as before.
A lot of the little children wanted a ride in the boat...so some of the older boys took them for a 2-yard long ride...they shoved off the shore and rowed over to the dock...about a 2 yards distance in about 2 feet of water....it was all the little ones needed and they were happy.
My sister Normie and Katlin (my cousin's daughter) going for a real ride in the kayak.
Anita playing with some of her second cousins.
My cousin Brenda and her husband, Derrick...Their 1st anniversary is coming up in July.
Some of the cattle on the ranch.
The view from inside the one cattle barn on the ranch
Well that is all for tonight....I am sort of doing this vacation backwards....I started uploading photos from the card that is in the camera now...I need to upload from the one I started the trip with yet...Oh well, I hope you found it a bit entertaining anyway.

That looks like so much fun. I love the hummingbird pictures.
Love the pictures. Aren't hummingbirds wonderful? My grandma has feeders and so many of them come and hum around.
I sort of wish I could jump off that bridge into the water!
